About Adam
Adam Eagers is Group Tax Director Europe at AS Watson Europe, the retail division of the Hong Kong-listed CK Hutchison Holdings Limited group. The division trades in Europe through its Superdrug, Savers, Kruidvat, Watsons, Marionnaud and The Perfume Shop brands, with a turnover of around USD 8bn.
He started his career with KPMG before moving to in-house international tax manager roles at Arriva Plc and then Diageo Plc. In 2012 he returned to practice at EY in their Transactions Tax group, advising multinational clients on transactions, and working with the EY Global HQ in developing the firm’s response to BEPS.
Adam moved to Clear Channel International in 2016, as divisional head of tax, before joining AS Watson in 2020, leading a team of nine tax professionals in London.
Adam is a tax thought leader, regularly presenting at the Winmark Tax Director Network and writing for Croner-i’s Tax Weekly magazine.
