Are you a talented tax professional with a passion for navigating complex international tax landscapes? An innovative, fast-growing, and acquisitive media organisation backed by private equity is seeking a dynamic Global Tax Director to lead their global tax strategy.

This pivotal role offers the chance to shape the tax framework of a truly global business with a footprint spanning the UK, US, Europe, and beyond. As the senior tax leader, you will oversee all tax compliance, planning, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring the business remains compliant while optimising its tax position.

It’s a highly hands-on role — you’ll be involved in the nitty-gritty, analysing transactions, preparing tax returns, managing audits, and ensuring compliance at every level. You’ll develop and execute tax strategies, guide acquisition-related tax diligence, and collaborate closely with external advisors and internal teams. You’ll need to be comfortable digging into the details, managing the intricacies of transfer pricing, VAT, employment taxes, and more, while also working directly with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will possess ACA/CTA qualifications, proven in-house tax experience, and a track record within PE-backed international environments. Your practical expertise and ability to get into the weeds will be crucial in driving strategic decisions, managing risk, and supporting the company’s ongoing growth.
