Rate: Day rate PAYE (competitive and negotiable)

About the Company:
Our client is a leading Property Investment company based in London, with a portfolio of assets across the UK and internationally. They are seeking an experienced Interim Corporate Tax Manager to join their team on a day rate basis.

Job Summary:
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their team on an interim basis for an initial period of 3-6 months. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UK and international corporate tax, ideally within the property or property investment industry. The role will involve providing tax planning and advisory services to support the company’s ongoing business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide corporate tax planning and advisory services to support the company’s ongoing business activities
  • Manage and maintain the company’s corporate tax compliance, including preparation of company tax returns, capital allowances claims, and VAT returns
  • Develop and maintain relationships with HMRC, responding to tax queries and resolving any tax disputes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, providing guidance and advice to the business on their impact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate tax, ideally within the property or property investment industry but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience of UK and international corporate tax, including corporation tax, capital gains tax, and VAT ideally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in tax planning software and Microsoft Office
