Deputy Head of Tax

A multinational PE backed group with a central London HQ are recruiting a newly created Deputy Head of Tax to support the Group Head of Tax in the development of the Group Tax function.

You will take on responsibilities for the group’s global tax planning, compliance and reporting responsibilities across more than 40 countries, including advising on international tax aspects of restructurings and acquisitions, managing global tax risk, and lead on tax reporting transformation initiatives. The Deputy Head of Tax will be responsible for managing and developing a team of two tax professionals.

Ideally looking to speak with chartered accountant, with time spent in industry in an international organisation essential. Experience of dealing with international tax matters, including tax structuring and M&A and tax controversy management, and solid experience in IFRS tax accounting.
